The Playford Health and Wellbeing Precinct at Elizabeth Vale has been announced as the site of the new Northern Adelaide Veterans’ and Families’ Hub.

Federal Minister for Veterans’ Affairs Matt Keogh announced the news during a visit to Adelaide earlier this month, sharing that the Hub will be established by Lives Lived Well to provide a welcoming space where veterans and their families can access a range of wellbeing services and social activities.

Located close to RAAF Base Edinburgh, the expansion of the Hub network into Adelaide’s northern suburbs will see almost 11,000 local veterans and families access improved specialist services close to home.

Veterans’ and Families’ Hubs have been established across Australia to provide all current and former serving Australian Defence Force (ADF) members, including reservists, and their families with access to a range of services including wellbeing support, advocacy, employment and housing advice, social connection and physical and mental health services.

The Northern Adelaide Hub’s location within the Playford Health and Wellbeing Precinct will provide convenient access to a range of additional allied health and complementary services.

The Hub is expected to open in mid 2025.
